To make theme decor for outdoor events we have to see the landscaping of the event area if there is any presence of date palm trees around and considering the plantation  and area around the tree to make a theme by adding date palm trees as focal point and creating a balanced sitting area keeping the mood of the event always in your mind. If it’s a daytime event and we see presence of date palm trees around inside the event venue it will be very important considering that trees are game changer specially if you have date palm trees in it. These date palm trees are different from any other date palm trees because these trees have a unique trunk shape tilted on one side and in day time it will look attractive and cool  if it’s a cloudy and windy day time function or if the event is happened to start before sunset or at night it is this time when date palm trees look apart and stand out in the theme created.

Adding lights to the date palm trees 

Similarly, if it’s a night event we can arrange track lights beneath the trees pointed towards the trunk and branches of trees up to the top and by creating a balance of lightening not overdoing it. We can also choose three different colors for lights indigo, red and warm white with moderately flashing will create a different mood for the occasion. The lighted palm trees in night will appear as if table lamps on each side of the bed and by adding a background music that will change to the mood of the function and occasion will make the event even better.

Date palm trees can be used for hanging cards

To make the trees look not apart from the landscape and keeping functionality in consideration we can hang branding to the trunk of the tree and for corporate get together and formal office functions and we can also put cutouts standees size w=1.5 feet , h= 5.5ft placed next or under the trees so that the space is not compromised otherwise we have to putt a large size backdrop in an open area creating hindrance in the area and it’s also not safe if it’s a family corporate function and children are also present in the play area. 

Corporate dinners and college events theme

We can arrange the food serving table in between two trees on each side or if it’s a school or college event the table can be used for placing shield and medals inside the university open area lawn and utilizing the central area for seating and a small platform stage dimensions 20ft x 10ft and single step of 8 inches for rostrum and portable sound system with mic for the audience. The size of stage standing area is for 5 to 6 people standing at a time for the event speaker and the guests we need to invite on stage. The date palm trees will be on the left or right side of stage with audience in the front and on the other side the camera team can place their camera to get a 360 view and full frame coverage of stage.
